Chicken And Pork Adobo

Ingredients:
  • ½ Kilo pork, sliced into cubes
  • ½ Kilo chicken, sliced into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil or cooking oil
  • 6 - 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 - 2 thumb ginger, grated ( adds Unique flavor )
  • 3 pcs. medium sized onions, diced
  • 3 - 4 cups water
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pc. broth cube
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 pcs. laurel leaves / bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoons cream cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water.
Procedure:
  1. Saute the garlic, ginger, onions in hot olive oil or cooking oil.
  2. Add pieces of pork and chicken in a sauce pan. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes. Pour water, soy sauce, vinegar, broth cube, paprika, and bay leaves.
  3. Let boil. Cover and simmer for 45 - 60 minutes until meat is tender. Stir occasionally.
  4. When almost done thicken with cornstarch. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite plain rice.
Tips:
  • You have the Option to cook only Pork Meat. or Chicken meat alone. No need to combine them if desired, as you wish!
