Salera‘s Style - Steamed Fish

Ingredients:

Methode # 1
  • Fish -Isda
  • Pamintang buo - crushed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pc. Sibuyas bombay
  • ½ tsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger - finely grated
  • 200 grm. mushroom
  • -tanglad or Zitronen grass
  • Green onion leaves - sibuyas dahin
  • A dash of salt
Procedure:

  1. Ang isda ay hiwaan ka tatlo, tapos budburan ng kaunting asin.
  2. E- arrange ngayon ang sibuyas bombay, pamintang buo, mushroom, tanglad, on the bottom of the steaming bowl. Then place fish on top of the vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle ginger, garlic, sesame oil over fish. Top with the remaining green onion leaves, mushrooms.
  4. Steam for 15 to 20 minutes. Or until fish flakes easily.
Ingredients for Making the Sauce: Steamed Fish Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon
  • 1 tbsp. Oyster sauce
  • ½ tsp. Soja sauce
  • 1 tsp. Fish sauce
  • 1 - 2 pcs red hot chilli
  • 1 tbsp. Cornstarch - tinunaw sa kaunting tubig.
  • ½ cup water or sabaw sa isda na pinag steam-man.
  1. Ilagay sa kaldero ang lahat na ingredients para sa sauce at pakuluan hanggang lumabas ang kanyang lasa. Isunod ang cornstarch haluin lang. At timplahan ayon sa inyong panlasa.
  • Ang isda at ang mga gulay ay ilagay sa malaking plato at ang sauce niya…at dekorasyonan.
Garnishing:
  • Red bell pepper - sliced pahaba - if disired
  • 1 Kamatis sliced pahaba . Tanggalin ang liso. Para pag dekorasyon sa ibabaw - if desired.
TIP:

Note:
  • Place the Steamer inside your wok, or over a large Pan or Pot if you don‘t haare a wok.
  • Make sure is 1 - 2 inches of water in the bottom of the Wok, or Pan or Pot for steaming.

Steamed Fish

Methode # 2

Ingredients:
  • Fish -Isda
Procedure:

  1. Place the steamer inside your wok or over a large Pan or pot if you don‘t have a wok.
  2. Make sure is 1 - 2 inches of water in the bottom of the wok, Pan or Pot for steaming.
  3. Hiwaon ang isda ug pahiran ng kaunting asin ug sesame oil.
  4. Arrange onions, mushroom, tanglad on the bottom of the steaming bowl. Ibutang an fish on the top of the vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle the spring onions, remaining mushrooms, over fish.
  6. Cover and steam at high heat for 15 - 20 minutes
  7. Be sure to check your kaldero from time to time para hindi masunog, add more water if needed ensuring, it doesn‘t boil.

Making Sauce:
  • Sesame oil
  • Soysauce
  • Fish sauce
  • Hot chilli
  • Cornstarch
Toppings:
  • Serve fish, remove fish from the steamer. Place on a serving platter, sprinkle with sauce and spring onions, parsley/Petersilie, fresh Koriander.
  • And serve with plenty of rice.

Note:
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce maybe served! Enjoy!!!
