Beef Spicy Curry

Ingredients:
  • 1 Kilo Beef, sliced into cube or flatter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 pcs. Medium sized onions, cut into quartered
  • 2 can coconut milk, you can buy at oriental store
  • ½ teaspoon hot chilli, powder
  • 2 pcs. Red hot chillies, sliced
  • 2 pcs. Siling labuyo, mahaba, optional
  • 1 - 2 tablespoon yellow or red curry paste
  • 2 pcs. Peperoni
  • 4 tablespoon tomato paste, optional
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce ( patis )
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika powder
  • 2 pcs cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 thumb ginger, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon ground white/black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Maggi broth cube
  • 2 stalks spring onions, sliced
  • ½ Cup hot water
  • 4 - 6 Medium sized potatoes, peel off skin and cut into quartered
  • 2 pcs. Medium sized carrots, peel off skin and sliced into cube
Procedure:
  1. Heat butter in a saucepan and saute garlic, ginger, onions until light brown. Add tomato paste, and the meat and fry for 6 minutes until beef changes color, stirring constantly, add hot water, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  2. Add half of the coconut milk, yellow paste, fish sauce, maggi broth cube and let it boil for 30 minutes in a medium flame.
  3. Add potatoes, chillies, and add the rest of coconut milk and let it boil for another 10-12 minutes, add carrots, spring onions
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Correct seasoning and serve hot! With Rice.
Note:
  • Arrange Beef Spicy Curry on a plate with Potatoes and / Or: Rice.
