Lumpia Sauce


Ingredients:
  • 2 - 3 pcs. red fresh hot chillies,chopped / Or: chilli flakes
  • 2 teaspoons hot chilli powder
  • 4 tablespoon catsup
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 Large sized onion, chopped
  • ½ - 1 Cup vinegar
  • ½ Cup water
  • 1 ½ Cup Pineapple Juice or: Orange Juice
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • A dash of ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cream cornstarch,dispersed in 2 tablespoons cold water
Procedure:
  1. In a wok combine all ingredients until well blended.
  2. Simmer on a low flame.
  3. Stir constantly until sauce thickens.
  4. Correct seasoning with your own taste.
  5. Let it cool and serve with Lumpia / spring rolls.
