Pork Sinigang na Buto-Buto


Ingredients:
  • ¼ - 1/2 kilo Pork with bone
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 cloves of garlic,chopped
  • 1 thumb ginger, sliced
  • 1 onions, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • Lemon grass / Tanglad
  • 1 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • ½ pc. bouillon cubes
  • 150 Cabbage ( China kohl )
  • 100 grams baguio beans
  • 1 small sized eggplant
  • 2 tablespoons Mama sita Sinigang sa Sampalok(Tamarind seasoning mix )
  • 1 pc. hot chilli, chopped - optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Pork Sinigang na Buto - Buto Cooking Instructions:
  • In a Wok saute garlic, ginger, onions,and tomatoes. Let simmer for 6 minutes.
  • Add pork and water then add fish sauce, bouillon cube. Bring to a boil then simmer for 40 minutes.
  • Add Mamasita Sinigang Sampalok,lemon grass ( tanglad ) Let it boil for another 8 minutes.
  • Then add baguio beans, eggplant parlsey and chilli ( optional), let it cook again for 6 minutes then add Cabbage (China kohl). Simmer for 1 minute. Serve hot with rice.
